Engr. Rashad Kabir is one of the leading young ICT Entrepreneurs of Bangladesh.He has contributed a lot to the progression and prosperity to the ICT development of Bangladesh, especially in the field of ICT based learning and teaching system.

Rashad Kabir started his professional career only at the age of 18 by joining as the Director of BCMC Foundation which is the apex body for the operation of 02 Private Engineering & Polytechnic Institutes of Bangladesh.

At the age of 22, Rashad Kabir established his own IT Firm named Dream71 Bangladesh Ltd which has already turned into one of the promising tech startup companies of Bangladesh. He is the pioneer of the first educational game of Bangladesh. He and his company in collaboration with Access to Information (A2i) Project of the GOB have been developing games based on science books of Classes VI to VIII.

In Oct 2015 Rashad in partnership with Sabirul Islam (Bangladeshi borne British Author, Entrepreneur and Motivational Speaker) started developing another educational game app named “Teen Trepreneur Fusion” which will teach the students & the game-lovers finance, share market, challenges of entrepreneurship and business education through this game. The board version of this game is being used by more than 600 schools in the UK and already 3,50,000 copies of the board game had been sold throughout the whole world. Engr. Rashad also holds the record to develop the first Cricket App of Bangladesh which is yet the only App that provides every content completely in Bangla. In November 2015 Rashad launched the first overseas branch of his company in London.

In March, 2016 Engr. Rashad Kabir in collaboration with the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) developed the first educational Apps in the history of Bangladesh. The role & activities of Rashad and his company in the development of various apps have been widely focused by a series of prominent electronic & print media of the country. Besides technical education and ICT Start Ups, Rashad has also specialization in the field of optical fiber communication.

He is the author of the following papers “Channel capacity and Bit Error Rate analysis of non-uniform type M – ary optical CDMA in presence of Self Phase Modulation and dispersion” and “Optimal on-grid hybrid renewable energy model for coastal area: Bangladesh perspective”. Besides Rashad also gave his speech as one of the key speakers in the seminar of “National Seminar on Information and Communication Technology Application in Education and Training” jointly organized by Ministry of Education, Bangladesh and Colombo Staff Planning College, Philippine.

In academic career 2013-2014, Engr. Rashad Kabir holds the degree of B Sc Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET).
